Emergency Warning Siren Testing Notice
The
Bonham Police Department will test the Emergency Warning System on
Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at 10:00 AM. The
testing will include the emergency warning sirens and the cable TV
emergency messaging notification system. Testing will be conducted if
weather conditions permit.
Alternate Testing Date: Friday, January 13, 2012 @ 10:00 AM
Note: If maintenance is necessary, there may be a need to perform repeated
activations of the Emergency Warning System in order to troubleshoot
and/or repair any system problems.

Nationwide Emergency
Alert System Test 
The first nationwide test of the Emergency Alert System, or EAS,
will take place at 2:00 P.M. (Eastern Standard Time) on November 9, 2011.
The purpose of the test is to assess the reliability and effectiveness of
the system in alerting the public. For more information click on the PSA
